Jean Piaget: Oldest of three children and the only boy. Born on August 9, 1896. Father-Arthur Piaget who was a professor of medieval literature and was also interested in local history. Mother-Rebecca Jackson who was a devout Calvanist. Wife-Valentine Châtenay, one of his student co-workers. Had two daughters and one son, they became the focus of the study.
